The Planetary Annihilation community is a friendly place filled with friendly people.

We’re all just here to play the game and have fun, right?

To ensure it all remains just fun and games we’ve got a list of unacceptable content below which we reserve the right to annihilate should its presence be detected within our galactic community.

Full Rules

Moderators reserve the right to remove, edit content, or act against behaviour they believe is inappropriate and against the spirit of our community.

Your name, status, game names, chat messages, screenshots, artwork, videos, guides, maps, mods and any other content you create are subject to these rules.

Violations of the rules can result in you being subject to a warning, deletion of content, mute, temporary ban, permanent ban, or even the loss of your account. Without warning. All violations are considered on a case-by-case basis and in light of previous offences.

Let’s be honest, you already know all the stuff below is wrong. Why not just be awesome? Fire up a lobby, play some games, have fun! We’re all mature individuals capable of mutual respect, right?

But just in case, the following content is prohibited:

  • Race (racism)
  • Nationality / Ethnicity (xenophobia)
  • Religion (islamophobia, antisemitism, etc.)
  • Gender (sexism, transphobia, etc.)
  • Age (ageism)
  • Sexual orientation (homophobia, etc.)
  • Disabilities (ableism)
  • And all the rest

Basically every “cool” insult you learned on the Internet.

Vulgar language

  • Swears
  • Innuendo

All the “cool” insults you learned offline.

  • Hard
  • Soft
  • Tentacles

You know when you’re posting it, so don’t.

Personal Information

  • Yours
  • Theirs
  • Fake stuff
  • Don’t do it

  • Trolling
  • Posting about someone in a negative way
  • Repeatedly attacking, pressuring, bullying or intimidating someone
  • Arguing with moderators over moderation decisions

  • Making accusations

  • Keep it in the clearly identified off-topic areas

  • Keep it in the clearly identified off-topic areas

Illegal drugs or activities

  • Under US law

No, it doesn’t matter that it’s legal in your state.

  • Join my lobby
  • Join my lobby
  • Join my lobby

Posting something once is enough. Updating the count of how many players are needed in a lobby is acceptable.

  • Doesn’t matter if it’s your friend
  • Doesn’t matter if it’s a “joke”

If it looks like crappy behaviour, sounds like crappy behaviour and smells like crappy behaviour then we’re going to nuke it from orbit. You might get caught in the blast.

  • No referral links
  • No codes

If it’s not something that’s taking someone to a resource related to PA then it has no business here.

Discussing disciplinary actions

  • Why was I banned?
  • Why was I muted?
  • Why was my text deleted?
  • Why have I been muted again?

Because you broke the rules. Don’t break them, learn from them instead. This includes asking about action taken against others.

Circumventing a ban

  • Logging into a secondary account to bypass a ban is a great way to lose your account
  • Posting information on behalf of a banned individual

Impersonating a Planetary Annihilation Inc employee, community moderator or any other person

  • Use of another individual’s account
  • Employees and moderators are clearly identified so you won’t get far with that one

Using, creating or posting unauthorised, nefarious or unethical software

  • Cheats, hacks, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware or any other type of malicious software
  • Posting unreleased content / hacking data files
